Homemade Aloo Tikki

Potatoes are rich in complex carbohydrate and they are considered as an essential source of energy, very much required for staying healthy and fit. They are easy to digest and the presence of minerals make them good for the skin too.

Ingredients

Boiled potato 2
Turmeric powder 1/8 Teaspoon
Red chili powder 1 Teaspoon (or to taste)
Cumin powder 1/2 Teaspoon (Optional)
Coriander powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Dry mango powder/Chaat masala powder 1 Tablespoon
Finely chopped onion 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Vegetable oil 1 Tablespoon (as needed)
For garnish
Coriander sprig 1
Lemon wedge 1

Directions

MAKING

1. In a bowl, mash potato and add turmeric powder, red chili powder, cumin, coriander powder, amchur, and onion. Mix well

2. Season with salt, mix and roll mixture into small patties.

3. Place a pan on flame, pour oil and cook patties until golden brown on both sides.

SERVING

4. Garnish with coriander and lemon wedge. Serve hot and enjoy!
