Kadahi Paneer - Green Bell Pepper and Cotage Cheese Gravy

Kadahi Paneer is a North Indian delicacy, which you will find in any high end restaurant as well as in some roadside Dhaba. Its a spicy tomato based gravy which is rich in texture.


Oil/Ghee 2 Tablespoon
Coriander seeds 1 Teaspoon
Onion 1 , sliced
Garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
Green bell pepper 2 , sliced
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Red chili powder 1 Teaspoon
Tomatoes 2 , sliced
Salt To Taste
Cottage cheese 300 Gram , cubed



1. In a skillet, heat the oil and add in the coriander seeds, let it pop. Add in the onion and sauté for a few seconds.

2. Stir in the garlic paste and cook on a slow flame for a few seconds.

3. Add in the green bell pepper and season with dry spices and cook on a low flame for 30 seconds.

4. Stir in the tomatoes and cook until the oil comes on top.

5. Season with salt and fry again for a few seconds.

6. Finally, add in the cottage cheese and cook for a few minutes.


7. Serve Kadhai Paneer with Lacha Paratha.
