Indian Chickepea Salad

This recipe is very versatile can be served as a snack, appetizer or a side dish along with some roasted vegetables or chicken if you are a non vegetarian.


Cooked chickpeas 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Red onion 2 Tablespoon , finely chopped
Tomatoes 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , finely chopped
Cottage cheese 50 Gram , crumbled
Coriander leaves 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , finely chopped
For dressing
Fresh lemon juice 2 Tablespoon
Salt and pepper To Taste



1. For dressing – in a small bowl, whisk together lemon juice and salt and pepper. Set aside.

2. In a large bowl, mix all the ingredients. Drizzle in the dressing and toss well.


3. Garnish the salad with coriander leaves and serve.
