Vegetable Pizza With Desi Tadka

This delicious homemade pizza is healthy and easy to make. For those who want to keep it simple, I would suggest buying the pizza base, else you can make your own pizza base. It adds a lot more freshness and taste to the total outcome. The toppings used here are healthy and easy to find vegetables. The cheese gives it a nice gooey texture and taste.


For pizza sauce
Onion 3 Medium
Tomato 200 Gram
Fenugreek leaves 1 Teaspoon , dried (Kasuri methi)
Garlic paste 2 Teaspoon
Garam masala 1 Teaspoon
Chili sauce 1 Tablespoon
Carom seeds 1 Teaspoon (ajwain)
Sugar 1/2 Teaspoon (Optional)
Salt To Taste
For toppings
Pizza base 1
Capsicum 1 Medium , chopped finely
Corn 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , boil
Tomato 1 Medium
Mozzarella cheese 4 Teaspoon



1.Grind onions to fine paste.

2.Prepare tomato puree by boiling and blanching the tomato. Preheat oven to 400 degrees C.

For Pizza Sauce

3.Heat oil in a pan and add the onion paste and cook for about 5 minutes.

4.Then add tomato puree. let the mixture cook for another 5-7 minutes.

5.Mix garlic paste, garam masala, chili sauce, carom seeds, dried fenugreek leaves, sugar and salt and cook further till the ingredients mix well with tomato and onion paste.

For Pizza Dressing

6.Spread the above pizza sauce on the pizza base.

7.Add toppings of chopped capsicum, tomato, boiled corn.

8.Finally complete the dressing by grating enough pizza cheese over it.

9.Bake the pizza at 400 degree celcius for 20-25mins or until the crust turns golden brown.


10.Serve it hot with tomato sauce.
