Mixed Flour Flatbread

Healthier alternative to plain wheat flat breads. Wholesome and satiating with goodness of mixed grains.


Whole wheat flour 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Bajra flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Whole corn meal 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Warm water 1 Cup (16 tbs) (to make dough)



1. In a bowl mix all the flours. Add water and knead it into soft dough. Keep aside for 10 minutes.


2. Heat the griddle on medium flame.

3. Make a golf sized ball from the dough. Flatten it and dust it a little with dry flour.

4. Roll it till it is of desired size, you can also press it in hand and get the desired size by finishing the ends.

5. Put it on hot griddle. When bubbles start forming, it is time to flip the bread. Cook it for about a minute or 2 by pressing gently on both the sides. Cook till done and remove from griddle.


6. Serve hot with a vegetable of your choice.
