Bachali Kheema Fry

Kheema (mince meat) tastes delicious with just about anything, be it rice, roti, phulka or plain bread. It is a dry curry that is easy to cook.


Mince meat 250 Gram (Kheema)
Onion 2 Medium , slice
Chinese spinach 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , chop
Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Oil 1 Tablespoon
Green chili 2
Ginger garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
Coriander leaves 3 Teaspoon (Approx 1 whole bunch)
Mint leaves 1 Teaspoon
Cinnamon stick 1 Inch
Cloves 3
Cardamom 2
Bay leaf 1 Small
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt To Taste



1.Wash the minced meat well and keep it aside.


2.Heat oil in a pressure cooker and add the spices (cinnamon, clove and cardamom) and sauté for few seconds.

3.Add the onions, green chili, ginger garlic paste and sauté until it turns golden brown.

4.Add the minced meat, chili powder, turmeric powder, salt and stir fry until the water evaporates.

5.Add the Chinese spinach, mint leaves, coriander leaves, water and pressure cook for 3 whistles.


6.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve it hot with rice or roti.
