Moms Creamy Kaju Chicken Curry

A classic creamy and rich chicken dish. This dish is rich in terms of taste, feel and texture and definitely a dish which will be savored by food lovers.


Chicken 500 Gram , cut into medium size pieces (with bones)
Water 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Cashew 15 Medium
Onion 2 Medium , slice
Oil 1 Tablespoon
Green chilli 5
Ginger garlic paste 1 Teaspoon
Pepper powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Coriander leaves 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cinnamon stick 1 Inch
Cloves 3
Cardamom 3
Lime juice 2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste



1.Wash the chicken properly and keep aside.

2.Grind the green chillies and coriander leaves into a fine paste. Sprinkle water if required.

3.Coarsely crush the cinnamon stick, cloves and cardamom.

4.Grind cashew with little water to make a smooth paste.

5.Take a bowl and mix chicken pieces with coriander-green chili paste, ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, salt and keep it aside.


6.In a thick bottomed vessel, heat oil and add the coarsely crushed spices. Add the onions and sauté until it turns translucent.

7.Add the chicken mixture and stir fry for a minute on low flame and close it with a lid for 5 minutes.

8.Add water and cook the chicken on a medium flame. Once It is cooked add the cashew paste, pepper powder and stir it well for 5 minutes. Turn off the heat and then add the lime juice.


9.Garnish it with coriander leaves and serve it hot with rice.
