These paratha's are easy to make and are made from readily available ingredients at home. Make these paratha's for breakfast or as an evening snack. Gives a nice twist to the basic Chapathi/roti that is prepared on a regular basis.

Ingredients

Wheat flour 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Yogurt 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (preferably sour)
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Chili powder 1 Teaspoon
Asafoetida 1 Pinch
Salt To Taste
Butter 1 Tablespoon (For frying Paratha)

Directions

GETTING READY

1.Add all the above ingredients in a bowl and sprinkle some water and knead it.

2.Make small lime sized balls of the dough and roll them into rotis. (Indian flatbread)

MAKING

3.Heat a griddle.

4.Place the roti over the hot griddle and roast both the sides by applying small quantities of butter.

SERVING

5.Serve it hot with pickle.
