With the temperatures soaring outside, the best way to keep the summer heat at bay, is by just sipping on a tall chilled glass of the heavenly "Summer Grape Cooler with a Twist!" This is an interesting combination of some delightful ingredients that are packed with nutrients such as antioxidants and vitamins A and K to keep you healthy as you enjoy each sip.
|Seedless black grapes||250 Gram (Fresh Ones)|
|Freshly squeezed lime juice||10 Gram|
|Pepper powder||1 Pinch|
|Ice cubes||1/2 Cup (8 tbs)|
De-stem and clean the grapes thoroughly under running water and soak for a while in water to get rid of surface chemicals. Then drain off the water and set aside.
1. Blend the cleaned grapes in a blender and strain to remove skin.
2. Mix in the honey to attain desired sweetness.
3. Add the juice of a freshly squeezed lemon and mix well.
4. Adjust the sweet and sour flavors by adding a pinch of black pepper powder.
In a tall glass, place 1 tablespoon of pomegranate seeds, fill it up to 3/4th with the prepared juice. Top with ice cubes and decorate with a mint leaf and a lemon wedge.
Juice the pomegranate seeds along with the grapes and strain to obtain the burgundy colored juice blend.
