High Vitamin Mixed Vegetable Semolina Idli

Thanks to Ifood.tv for organizing such a great contest every month in which we feel connected with other community members. Here is my entry for "Woman's Day Healthy Recipe Contest"


Semolina 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Yogurt 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Tomatoes 4 Medium
Onion 1 Small
Carrot 2 Small
Capsicum 1 Small
Olive oil cooking spray 4 Drop



1) Puree tomatoes and keep in separate bowl

2) Finely chop onion, carrot, capsicum.


1) Mix Semolina, tomato puree, chopped vegetables, yogurt, salt to taste and some water if required.

2) Apply some olive oil on idli maker and pour batter in idli maker and microwave it for 1.5 minutes.

3) Repeat same process with remaining batter


Due to mixed vegetables, I like to eat my favourite idli as it is or you can also have it with tomato sauce.. I just like it as it is…. Ahhhhhh I can feel very crunchy texture of vegetable still in my mouth. I love this recipe .
