Indian Chicken In Sweet Sauce

For the seared chicken breast:
Chicken breast boneless skinless 250 Gram , diced
Red chili powder 1/2 Tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1 Teaspoon
Vinegar 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Ginger and garlic paste 2 Teaspoon
Chopped onions 1 Tablespoon
Chopped coriander leaves 1 Tablespoon
Oil 3 Tablespoon
For the sweet sauce:
Chili sauce 2 Tablespoon
Jaggery powder 1 Tablespoon
Chocolate flakes 2 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Pinch
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Sesame seeds 2 Teaspoon



1)In a bowl add the chicken breast, oil, chopped onion, ginger and garlic paste, vinegar, turmeric, red chili powder, coriander leaves, salt and marinate the chicken for 2 hours.


The chicken fry:

2)In a hot pan place the chicken breasts and cook till chicken is fully cooked with a golden brown covering and leave it in the pan to retain its juices.

The sweet sauce:

3)In a sauce pan add water, chili sauce, jaggery, chocolate flakes and mix well and bring to a gentle boil. Add a pinch of salt and mix well.


4)Serve the chicken breast sliced on the bias on the center of the plate with a drizzle of the sweet sauce on top. Best served hot and crispy with the sauce at room temperature with a sprinkle of black sesame seeds on top and enjoy!
