Ingredients

Channa dal 1 Kilogram
Khoya 1/2 Kilogram
Ground sugar 1 Kilogram
Cardamom seeds 1 Tablespoon
Finely sliced almonds 25 Gram
Sliced pistachios 25 Gram
Melon seeds 25 Gram , finely sliced
Ghee 10 Tablespoon

Directions

GETTING READY

1) Soak the dal overnight. Next day, drain water and dry it a bit. Grind it into a fine paste.

MAKING

2) In a large wok, heat ghee and add dal paste. Roast dal until golden brown.

3) Now add khoya and cook until it turns golden and gets incorporated with dal.

4) Add the remaining ingredients and let it cool a bit.

5) When mixture is bearably hot make medium size balls.

SERVING

6) Let the laddus set and serve them.

TIPS

Dal laddus should be stored in airtight containers.
