Ingredients

Flour 5 1/2 Cup (88 tbs)
Castor sugar 2 1/2 Cup (40 tbs)
Ghee/Butter 50 Gram
Soda bicarbonate 2 Teaspoon
Curds 8 Tablespoon , beaten till smooth
Cardamom powder 1 Teaspoon
Salt 1 Pinch
Cashewnut halves 1 Tablespoon (for decoration)

Directions

Set oven to 180°C (350°F).

Sift flour with salt, cardamom powder and bicarbonate of soda.

Beat ghee or butter with sugar till light and fluffy.

Add curds and mix well.

Add flour and mix to a stiff dough.

Rest dough for half an hour.

Place one teaspoonful of mixture on a greased baking tray for each biscuit, leaving a space of two inches between each.

Place a cashew nut on top of each biscuit.

Place in oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes.
