Ingredients

Corn kernel 1 Cup (16 tbs) , cooked, shredded (Left over corn chevda used)
Baking powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Gram flour 2 Tablespoon
Corn flour 2 Tablespoon
Oil 1 Teaspoon
Green chili paste 1/2 Teaspoon
Sugar To Taste
Fresh cilantro 2 Tablespoon , chopped
Salt To Taste
Juice of lemon 1/2 Tablespoon
For frying
Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For deep frying)

Directions

MAKING

1. Take a bowl with corn chevda (left over corn chevda used in this recipe). You can also use shredded corn.

2. Add baking powder, gram flour, cornflour, Oil, green chili paste, sugar, freshly chopped cilantro, salt and fresh lemon juice. Mix the ingredients well to combine.

3. Take a pan, heated with oil ready for deep frying the vadas. Mold the batter into small balls and drop them gently into the heated oil. Deep fry the vadas till golden brown and remove them into paper towels to drain off the excess oil.

SERVING

4. Serve warm as a snack with tea or as an appetizer.
