Red kashmiri chilies | 25 | |
Cloves | 6 Small | |
Peppercorns | 10 | |
Cinnamon piece | 1 Inch | |
Cumin seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
Turmeric | 1 Teaspoon | |
Garlic | 8 Clove (40 gm) | |
Ginger piece | 1 Inch | |
Tamarind ball | 1 Tablespoon , soaked in 1 cup water | |
Vinegar | 1 Cup (16 tbs) |
MAKING:
In a food processor/ blender, combine chiles, cloves, peppercorns, cinnamon, cumin, turmeric and grind well.
Add ginger, garlic, tamarind water, vinegar (in 2 batches) and grind until smooth.
