Murmura(Muri) Pakora - Indian Puffed Rice Fritters - Easy Tea Time Snack

Murmura(Muri) Pakora - Crispy and yummy pakoda made by murmura or puffed rice. Murmura is very cheap and one of easily available ingredients in Indian households.


Murmura 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Onion 1 Large , chopped
Green chilies 2 , chopped
Gram flour 2 Tablespoon
Rice flour 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
Chaat masala To Taste (optional)



1. Take a bowl and add all ingredients except water and oil.

2. Add water little by little until it is semi-wet.

3. Make into balls and fry in the oil until golden brown.

4. Drain them in absorbent paper.


5. Serve as it is and enjoy.
