Learn how to make Sevai Kheer / Shevayanchi Kheer - a quick instant sweet dessert recipe from our chef Archana on Ruchkar Mejwani. Kheer is a type of Indian pudding prepared from Sevai (Vermicelli) and milk.

Ingredients

Ghee 2 Tablespoon
Vermicelli 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Raisins 1/2 Tablespoon
Chopped dry fruits 2 Tablespoon
Milk 1 Liter
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Cardamom powder 1 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING:

1. In a pan heat some ghee.

2. Add the vermicelli and roast it well.

3. Then add raisins and dry fruits. Mix everything well.

4. Add milk and again mix well. Let the milk boil completely.

5. Then add sugar. Keep stirring.

6. Add cardamom powder and keep stirring.

7. Let the kheer boil till it becomes little thick.

SERVING:

8. Garnish it with dry fruits & serve.
