FRITHAD - Traditional East Indian CHICKEN CURRY

This curry is an authentic East Indian recipe made with a blend of spices, onions and tomatoes. Chicken is then simmered into this and finished off with potatoes - delish!

Ingredients

Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Dried red chillies 10 (kashmiri)
Khus khus
Cloves 6
Cardamoms 4
Cinnamon stick 1 Inch
Coriander seeds 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Peppercorns 6
Sesame seeds 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Turmeric 1 Teaspoon
Garlic flakes 8
Red onions 2 Medium , chopped
Tomatoes 2 , chopped
Tamarind ball 1 Small , soaked in 2 cups of water
Chicken 1 , cut in small pieces
Cubed potatoes 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt To Taste
Oil 3 Tablespoon
