Bulgur is a quick-cooking form of whole wheat that has been cleaned, parboiled, dried, ground into particles and sifted into distinct sizes. Bulgur is a nutritious, versatile wheat product with a pleasant, nut-like flavor and an extended shelf-life that allows it to be stored for long periods. Bulgur is high in fiber and rich in B vitamins, iron, phosphorus and manganese.


Bulgur wheat 1 Cup (16 tbs) , cooked
Oil 3 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoon
Chopped onion 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Vegetable 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt 1 Teaspoon
Red chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Lemon juice 3 Tablespoon
Chopped cilantro 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)



1. Cook Bulgur Wheat, just like rice. It cooks way quicker than rice. Set aside.

2. Heat some oil in a pan. In hot oil, add cumin and mustard seeds. Fry some onions. Add salt and Chilli powder.

3. Fry veggies. Stir them well.

4. Add bulgur. Mix thoroughly.


5. Add lemon juice and cilantro leaves and enjoy.
