Ghari is a very rich sweet prepared during Chandi Padva Festival in Surat, Gujarat. To all those who like making Gujarati homemade sweets or mithai will really find this recipe useful.

Maida 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Milk 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Melted ghee 2 Tablespoon
For the filling
Crushed pistachios 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Crushed almonds 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Khoya 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Rava 1 Tablespoon
Besan 2 Tablespoon
Cardomom powder 1 Teaspoon
Saffron 1 Pinch
Milk 1 Teaspoon
Sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
For frying
Oil 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) (For deep frying)
Ghee 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) (For deep frying)
For glaze
Powder sugar 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Ghee 6 Tablespoon
