Moong Dal Water

Moong Dal Water, a perfect start to weaning for babies.

Ingredients

Yellow moong dal 2 Tablespoon (split yellow gram)

Directions

Making

Combine the moong dal and ½ cup of water in a pressure cooker and pressure cook for 3 whistles.

Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid. 

Add another ½ cup of water and blend in a mixer till smooth.

Strain the cooked dal mixture using a strainer. Serve lukewarm.

VARIATION: MASOOR DAL WATER

Two tbsp of masoor dal (split red lentil) can be used instead of moong dal as a variation.
