Safed Paneer - Quick Restaurant Style Gravy at Home Under 20 mins Indian Five Spice Cooking

Paneer is cooked in a rich and creamy white gravy. Safed Paneer tastes different and unique from the other regular Indian gravies. White pepper, Saffron and Cardamom together play a wonderful role in flavoring this dish. So do try this and serve it with any of your favorite Indian Flat Bread like Roti, Naan Parathas etc.

Ingredients

Paneer 170 Gram , cubed
Yogurt 2 Tablespoon
Heavy cream 4 Tablespoon
Cashews 20
White onion 1 Medium , roughly chopped
Butter 1 1/2 Tablespoon
Cardamom 2 , covering removed and seeds crushed
Saffron strands 8
White pepper powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Ginger piece 1 Small
Garam masala powder 3/4 Teaspoon
Garlic 3 Clove (15 gm)
Sugar 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Green chilies 4
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)

Directions

MAKING

1. Take water in a pressure cooker. Drop the cashews, onion, cardamom, garlic and ginger. Cover and pressure cook for 3 whistels.

2. Let the steam escape naturally and then let everything cool well.

3. Grind everything to a smooth masala paste.

4. Heat butter in a pan. Immediately add saffron and masala paste. Drop in white pepper powder, garam masala, yogurt and cream to the pan.

5. Season with salt and sugar. Mix everything nicely.

6. Add panner and simmer the gravy nicely for a couple of minutes.

7. Check and adjust for seasoning.

 

SERVING

8. Garnish with few saffron strands and serve the gravy with naan or rice. Enjoy!!
