There is nothing like a nice cold beverage on a hot summer day to cool off. Lassi Recipe Flavors: Chocolate Caramel, Kesariya (Saffron), Pudina Adrak (Mint Ginger), Rose, and Mango
Lassi is a popular, traditional, yogurt-based drink from India and Pakistan. It is very popular in India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh. Lassi is a blend of yogurt, water, spices and sometimes, fruit.
For simple syrup: | ||

Plain yogurt | 4 Cup (64 tbs) | |
Water | 1/2 Liter (as needed) | |
For caramel chocolate lassi: | ||
Caramel | 2 Tablespoon , microwaved for 60 seconds | |
Chocolate syrup | 1 Tablespoon | |
For rose lassi: | ||
Rose syrup | 2 Tablespoon | |
Ground cardamom | 1 Teaspoon | |
For mango coconut lassi: | ||
Mango pulp | 4 Tablespoon | |
Coconut cream | 2 Tablespoon | |
For kesariya lassi: | ||
Saffron | 2 Pinch , ground | |
Hot milk | 3 Tablespoon | |
Ground pistachios | 1 Tablespoon | |
For ginger mint lassi: | ||
Grated ginger | 1 Tablespoon | |
Mint leaves | 6 |
GETTING READY:
For simple syrup, boil water with sugar in a saucepan until sugar melts. Store in a jar with lid.
MAKING:
For plain lassi: Whisk yogurt well and add water. Stir well and add sugar syrup as desired.
For caramel chocolate lassi: Drizzle caramel and chocolate syrup on the walls of serving glass. Pour plain lassi into it and top with ice if desired.
For rose lassi: Drizzle rose syrup on the walls of serving glass. Add cardamom to serving glass and pour plain lassi into it. Top with cardamom and ice cubes if desired.
For mango coconut lassi: Drizzle mango pulp on the walls of serving glass. Add coconut cream to serving glass and pour plain lassi into it. Top with ice cubes if desired.
For kesariya lassi: Mix hot milk with ground saffron in a small bowl and allow to cool completely. Drizzle mixed milk on the walls of serving glass and pour plain lassi into it. Top with pistachios and ice cubes if desired.
For ginger mint lassi: Grind mint leaves and ginger using mortar and pestle. Strain into serving glass and top with plain lassi.
