Green Chutney (Mumbai Roadside Recipe)

Chaat without green chutney? Never! One of the most important ingredients used by Mumbais street-food vendors, the Green Chutney is used not just in the preparation of chaat but also in various other exciting dishes like vada pav and sandwiches too. You can even serve it as an off-beat dip for chips!

Ingredients

Roughly chopped coriander 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Chopped spinach 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Bread slices 1 1/2
Green chillies 1 1/2 Tablespoon , chopped
Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste

Directions

Making

To a mixer, add all the ingredients along with 5 tbsp water. 

Blend into a smooth paste.

Serving

Refrigerate and use as required.
