Gujiyas, call it dumplings, pockets or hand pie.. Here's some with cheese! Crispy out and flaky in, along with the delectable sweet n savory filling of cheese, nuts, peas! These are easy to make, and are a delight to have! So make sure you try it out and let us know how it goes!

Oil | 2 Cup (32 tbs) , divided | |
Sesame seeds | 1/2 Teaspoon | |
For stuffing: | ||
Water | 2 Cup (32 tbs) (((adjust quantity as required))) | |
Salt | To Taste | |
Corn | 4 Tablespoon | |
Peas | 3 Tablespoon | |
Raisins | 2 Tablespoon | |
Toasted nuts | 2 Tablespoon | |
Sugar | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Cheese | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) |
MAKING:
In a bowl, mix together flour, 1 1/2 tablespoon of oil, sesame seeds, water to form dough as shown in the video.
Cover with a cloth and keep aside for 15-20 minutes.
In another bowl, combine cheese, corn, peas, raisin, toasted nuts, salt, sugar and mix well.
Divide dough into 8 equal portions. Roll the dough using rolling pin as shown in the video.
Put stuffing as per taste. Seal the edges and crimp using fork as shown in the video.
Heat oil in a frying pan and deep fry in medium flame, until they turn golden brown.
Drain excess oil using paper towels.
SERVING:
Serve hot with chutney and enjoy!
