Mini Jowar Pancakes

Pancakes can be made from a variety of different flours. Add cucumber, onions, curds and green chilies to otherwise bland jowar flour to create soft and tasty pancakes. Pair them with fresh green chutney for a great breakfast!


Jowar flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (white millet)
Grated cucumber 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Finely chopped onion 2 Tablespoon
Finely chopped green chili 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Fresh curd 1 Tablespoon
Turmeric powder 1 Pinch
Finely chopped coriander 1 Tablespoon
Oil 1 Tablespoon (as needed)
Water 7 Tablespoon (5



1.In a bowl, combine jowar flour, cucumber, onion, chili, salt, curd, turmeric powder, and coriander. Mix well using about 5 to 7 tablespoons of water to make a batter of pouring consistency.

2.Grease a non-stick mini uttapa pan with little oil.

3.Pour 2 tablespoons of the batter in each of the uttapa moulds and spread it gently in a circular motion to make a round. Cook using little oil until brown on each side.



4.Serve immediately with green chutney.
