Stuffed Crispy Pappadums with a Shrimp filling

Famous on the beaches of Goa in India, this unique snack is a crispy pappadum that is rolled to enclose a spicy shrimp filling.


Papad 24
Shrimp filling 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs)
Egg 1
Oil 3 Tablespoon (For frying)



1. Soak papad in water until soft. Place it on a paper towel, dab all the moisture with another paper towel.

2. Brush the papad with egg. Place the prawn stuffing  in a line and roll it up.

3. Repeat the same process to make more papad rolls.

4. Line them on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Air dry them.

5. Seal the holes with dabs of eggs. 

6. Heat oil in a pan, shallow fry the papads, turning them a couple of times until nicely browned.



7. Serve these stuffed papads by themselves. Enjoy.
