Papad Potato Rolls

Papad Potato Rolls features a more scrumptious filling rolled up into papads, which are then deep-fried. You could serve it as an appetizer or with cocktails on the other hand, you could also opt for it as a standalone snack with tea.


Plain flour 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Mashed potato 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Finely chopped green chili 1 1/2 Teaspoon
Chili powder 1/2 Teaspoon
Garam masala 1/2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Lemon juice 1 Teaspoon
Finely chopped coriander 2 Tablespoon
Papad 8 , broken into small pieces
Oil 1 Cup (16 tbs) (For deep frying)
Water 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)



1. In a bowl, whisk together plain flour and ¾ cup of water. Set aside.

2. In a separate bowl, combine potato, green chili, chili powder, garam masala, salt, lemon juice and coriander. Mix well.

3. Divide the potato mixture into 6 equal portions and shape each portion into oval rolls.

4. Dip the rolls in flour water mixture and then coat them with papad.

5. In a skillet, heat oil and deep fry rolls, few at a time until golden brown. Place on paper towel to drain.



6. Serve immediately with green chutney.
