Homemade Garam Masala

Garam Masala is an indispensable ingredient when it comes to gourmet indian cooking. Here is a simple flavorful recipe.


Coriander seeds 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Jeera 2 Tablespoon
Black pepper 2 Tablespoon
Cinammon sticks 3 (2
Big elachi 10
Cloves 1/2 Tablespoon
Mace 2 (1
Nutmeg 1
Star anise 5
Cardamom pods 10



Dry roast the spices on low flame, for a few minutes.

Let the spices cool.

Grind in a mortar pestle or blender


Store it in an air tight container and use to make your favorite recipes
