Sabudana Khichdi

Healthy khichdi which you can prepare during fast.

Ingredients

Sago 1 Cup (16 tbs) , washed and drained (sabudana)
Oil 2 Tablespoon
Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoon
Boiled potato pieces 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)
Salt/Rock salt To Taste
Roasted coarsely powdered peanuts 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Finely chopped coriander 2 Tablespoon
Finely chopped green chili 2 Teaspoon
Curry leaves 6 (5
Lemon juice 2 Teaspoon
Sugar 2 Teaspoon
Water 3/4 Cup (12 tbs)

Directions

GETTING READY

1. In a bowl, soak sago in cup of water for 2 hours.

MAKING

2. In a deep non-stick pan, heat oil, add cumin seeds and allow them to crackle.

3. Add potato, sago, salt, peanuts, coriander, green chili, curry leaves, lemon juice and sugar. Stir and cook over medium flame for 2 minutes.

SERVING

4. Serve hot and enjoy!
