I simply love blanched asparagus with butter, salt and pepper but once in a while I love to prepare something different that my in-laws can enjoy!

Whole red dry chili | 3 | |
Cumin seeds | 1/2 Tablespoon | |

Green chili paste | To Taste | |
Garlic paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
Ginger paste | 1 Teaspoon | |
Coriander cumin powder | 1 Teaspoon | |
Turmeric powder | 1 Pinch | |
Sesame seeds | 1 Teaspoon | |
Fresh lime juice/Lemon juice | 1 Tablespoon |
MAKING
1. In a pan, heat oil, add red chili and cumin.
2. Add in the asparagus, add salt and stir to mix. Add green chili paste, garlic paste, ginger paste ans coriander cumin powder, mix again.
3. Cook covered for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Add turmeric, sesame and lime juice, stir to mix.
SERVING
5. Garnish with coriander leaves and sesame seeds. Serve with roti or rice.
