How to prepare Succulent and Simple Mutton Chops

This is a perfect family meal. Can use mutton, lamb or veal. Simple to prepare and bursting with bold flavours. Presented by Karen Ahmed for Kravings.


Mutton chops 10 (((8
Olive oil 1 Tablespoon
Red onion 1 , sliced
For the marinade
Roasted garlic 6
Cumin powder 1 Teaspoon
Crushed black pepper 1 Teaspoon
Red chili paste 1 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Juice of lime/Juice of lemon 1/2



For the marinade – In a large bowl, place the roasted garlic and mash with a muddler.

Add in the remaining ingredients and mix well.

Rub the marinade all over the mutton chop and cover with saran wrap. Refrigerate overnight.



 When marinated, drizzle with olive oil and sear in a pan on each side for a few minutes.

In a baking dish, place the red onion and top with chops. Roast in the oven for 20 – 30 minutes.



Serve with some salad and rumali roti.
