Betty's Chocolate Sheet Cake Icing

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Chocolate Sheet Cake Icing. This is a silky chocolate icing that may be used on cakes, cupcakes, cookies, doughnuts, etc.

Ingredients

Butter 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Semisweet chocolate chips 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Cocoa powder 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Milk 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Whipping cream 2 Tablespoon
Confectioners sugar 3 1/2 Cup (56 tbs)
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon

Directions

MAKING

1.In a large saucepan, combine butter, semisweet chocolate chips, cocoa powder, milk, and whipping cream. Place the pan on low to medium heat and bring it to a boil.

2.Transfer it to a large mixing bowl and add confectioner's sugar and vanilla. Using an electric mixer beat well.

SERVING

3. Use the icing to frost the cakes or as desired.
