In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make Healthy Blender Banana Ice Cream. This ice cream is made mainly from bananas, with some healthy flavor enhancers.

Ingredients

Ripe bananas 4 , peeled, sliced, and frozen solid
Toasted chopped pecans 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , finely chopped
Honey 3 Tablespoon , divided
Coarse sea salt 1 Pinch
Almond extract 1 Teaspoon
Mint sprig 2 (for garnish)

Directions

MAKING

1. In a small bowl, combine pecans, 1 tablespoon honey, and coarse sea salt. Set aside.

2. In blender, add frozen banana slices, almond extract, and 2 tablespoons honey. Occasionally scrape down the sides and blend to get desired consistency. If the mixture is too stiff, pour small amount of milk.

4. Sprinkle top with reserved pecan, honey, and salt mixture.

SERVING

5. Garnish with a fresh sprig of mint and serve immediately.
