Bucky Badger Ice Cream Sundae

For cranberry sauce
Cranberries 12 Ounce (1 package, Fresh / Frozen)
Sugar 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Water 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Vanilla ice cream 1 Cup (16 tbs) (adjust quantity as needed)



1) If you are using a microwave oven, in a microwavable glass bowl, place together, cranberries, sugar and water.

2) Wrap the bowl with plastic film prick with knife to create to vent.

3) Place in microwave at high heat 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes.

4) Allow to rest, covered, for 10 minutes and set aside to cool.

5) Place in refrigerator for several hours or overnight to the sauce thicken as it cools.


6) If you are using saucepan, place together cranberries, sugar and water in a saucepan,

7) Heat the craneberry mixture to boil.

8) Simmer for 10 minutes.

9) Remove from heat and allow to cool, refrigerate for several hours or overnight.


10) Place a scoop of ice cream into a sundae glass or serving bowl drizzle with Cranberry Sauce.
