This Magical 1-Ingredient Ice Cream is not really ice cream, but has the smooth, creamy texture of soft-serve. The secret ingredient is frozen bananas! I make Banana Chocolate Chip, Banana Peanut Butter, and Honey Cinnamon Banana in this episode. It's a great frozen summer snack or dessert, and it's a healthy alternative to ice cream, dairy-free, gluten free, and vegan.
Peel and slice the bananas into thin rounds, then freeze for at least three hours.
Place in a blender or food processor and puree completely until no chunks remain, and it's creamy and smooth.
Enjoy as is, or mix in 2 tablespoons of chocolate shavings or 1 tablespoon of peanut butter or a pinch of cinnamon powder and 1 teaspoon honey.
Tip:If you want a firmer consistency, freeze for an additional hour.
