Make strawberry ice cream! Simple, homemade strawberry ice cream is perfect for backyard cookouts and holidays!
Strawberries | 1 Pint , hulled ((1/2 quart)) | |
Sugar | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) | |
Vanilla extract | 1 Teaspoon | |
Heavy whipping cream | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Milk | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) |
MAKING:
1.In a food processor, combine strawberries, sugar, vanilla and pulse until coarsely pureed.
2.Add cream, milk and stir well.
3.Cover with lid and refrigerate for 1 hour (upto 1 day).
4.Process in ice cream maker according to machine directions or 20 minutes.
5.Freeze and store for up to 1 week.
