This is a simple but an amazing recipe for grilled watermelon that has a honey glaze with a hint of cayenne pepper that makes this watermelon absolutely wonderful. It is topped with a homemade vanilla ice cream that is made using zip lock freezer bags, and it's so easy to do. When I think of summer, I think back to my childhood, when watermelons and homemade ice cream was a normal summer event, but we never did it like this!

Chocolate syrup 2 Tablespoon ((For Serving))
For glazed watermelon
Watermelon slices 2 , seeds removed
Honey 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Kosher salt To Taste
Cayenne pepper To Taste
For homemade ice cream
Whole milk 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Heavy cream 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Sugar 2 Tablespoon
Vanilla extract 1 Teaspoon

1. Prepare the grill.

2. Mix salt and cayenne pepper in honey. Heat in microwave for about 15 seconds.

3. Brush honey mix over watermelon.

4. Grill the watermelon for 2 minutes on each side. Set it aside to cool.

5. Meanwhile take milk, cream, sugar and vanilla extract in a bowl. Mix it all well.

6. Pour the mix in a small ziploc bag. Seal it.

7. Fill ice in a gallon ziploc bag until it is half full. Put 3 tablespoon kosher salt in it. Shake to mix. Place the ice cream bag over the ice. Cover with more ice and kosher salt.

8. Seal the bag and shake it up until the cream begins to firm up. Place it in the freezer until ready to use.

9. Scoop ice cream over grilled water melon slices. Drizzle chocolate sauce over it and serve.
