Betty's Winning Chili Cheese Hot Dogs

In this video, Betty demonstrates how to make her Winning Super Bowl Chili Cheese Hot Dogs. These use Betty's Own Super Bowl Chili Sauce, which you will find in bettyskitchen.


Hot dogs 3
Hot dog buns 3
Chili sauce 3 Tablespoon , heated (to taste)
Shredded sharp cheddar cheese To Taste
Chopped onion To Taste



1. Boil hot dogs in water for about 4 minutes or according to package instructions.

2. Place buns on top of boiling water and steam for about 2 minutes.

3. Using tongs, lift each dog out of boiling water, drain and insert it into each steamed bun.

4. Using a slotted spoon hold the amount of chili sauce you want, and let the liquid drain into the crock pot. Put the chili sauce on top of the dog.

5. Sprinkle chopped onions, and cheese on top. Place over steam for an additional 2 minutes or until cheese melts.


6. Serve immediately and enjoy!


You may use just the chili sauce or just the cheese to top the hot dog. You may also choose any of the following as additional topping: mustard, ketchup, sweet or dill pickle relish, sauerkraut, and other condiments.
