Betty demonstrates how to make Cheese Hot Dogs. These make a great summertime lunch!
Hot dog | 4 | |
Bread slice | 4 | |
Prepared yellow mustard | 4 Tablespoon | |
American cheese slice | 4 (or any cheese) | |
Butter | 1/4 Cup (4 tbs) , melted |
GETTING READY
1. Preheat oven to 350 degree F.
MAKING
2. On a lined baking pan, place the bread slices, spread mustard and place a slice of cheese on top of each.
3. Place a hot dog diagonally on top of each cheese slice and fold bread over to make a triangular shape. Fasten with toothpicks.
4. Brush each triangle with melted butter (top and bottom).
5. Turn oven to BROIL and cook sandwiches for about 14 minutes or until golden brown on both side. Flip once in between, after 7 minutes. Remove from oven and place on a plate.
SERVING
6. Serve hot with tomato slices and salsa.
