Nacho Dog

I found this recipe awhile back, and when I seen it, I knew it would be a great addition into my Famous Hot Dog series playlist on my channel! This recipe was created by Bobby Flay on his BBQ Addiction series, and I'm hear to tell you it ranks in the top 3 best hot dogs that I've ever eaten. So full of bold and delicious flavors. The recipe actually calls to char the tomato, onions, etc. but I choose not to do that in this video, and it's still super delicious, but I can imagine that roasting the veggies off would add another nice depth of flavor to this dog

Ingredients

For pico de gallo
Tomato 1 , diced
Salt To Taste
Ground black pepper To Taste
Red onion 1/2 Small , chopped
Jalapeno 1 , pith and seeds removed and diced
Lime juice 1 Tablespoon
Chipotle adobo sauce 2 Tablespoon
Red wine vinegar 1 Tablespoon
Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
For avocado salsa
Avocado 2 , diced
Ground black pepper To Taste
Salt To Taste
Onion 1/2 Small , chopped
Chopped cilantro 2 Tablespoon
Jalapeno 1 , pith and seeds removed and diced
Lime juice 1 Tablespoon
Olive oil 2 Tablespoon
Other ingredients
Extra sharp cheddar cheese 4 Ounce , grated
Sausages 8 (Nathan ones)
Hot dog bun 8
Blue tortilla chips 8 Ounce , crushed
Hot and sweet jalapeo slices 24

Directions

MAKING

1.Heat up the sausages and keep them aside.

For Pico de Gallo

2. Season tomatoes with salt and pepper. Add chopped onions, chopped jalapeno and chopped cilantro.

3.Drop in chipotle adobo sauce and lime juice to the salsa. Add some red wine vinegar.Pour olive oil and mix everything together and set it aside.

For Avocado Salsa

4. Season avocados with salt and pepper. Add chopped onions, chopped jalapeno and chopped cilantro.

5.Drop in some lime juice and olive oil and give everthing a good mix and then set it aside.

FINALISING

6. Place a sausage in the bun. Layer with avaocado salsa followed by pico de gallo salsa. Top it with grated extra sharp cheddar cheese.

7. Put some blue tortilla chips and then sweet and hot jalapeno slices over the top. Repeat the same to make other hot dogs.

SERVING

8. Arrange the hot dogs on a platter and serve.
