Cracker Barrel Loaded Hashbrowns

Cracker Barrel has a new hash brown recipe, and this time they are serving up loaded hash browns. Check out these new simply stuffed hash browns.


Ground sausage 1 Pound
Chopped red bell pepper 3 Tablespoon
Grated american cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Grated sharp cheddar cheese 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Grated monterey jack 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Grated colby cheese 1 Cup (16 tbs) , divided (1/2 cup for topping)
Butter 2 Tablespoon
Flour 2 Tablespoon
Milk 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Hash brown 2 Pound



1. Preheat the oven to 350F.


2. In a frying pan, brown the sausage. When almost done add red bell pepper, drain. In a saucepan, add butter and flour. Stir and cook over medium heat for about 1 minute. Add milk, once the sauce thickens add in the cheese, cook until the cheese melts.

3. In a large bowl, mix together hash potato, sausage and the cheese sauce. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish, cover the colby cheese. Bake for 45 minutes.


4. Cut into pieces and serve with your choice of beverage.
