Betty's Baked Ham with Apricot-Mustard Glaze -- Christmas

Betty demonstrates how to make Baked Ham with Apricot-Mustard Glaze for this year's Christmas entree. The glaze is allowed to soak into the ham overnight before baking.


Fully cooked ham 8 Pound
Apricot preserves 10 Ounce (or apricot spreadable fruit)
Wholegrain mustard 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Dark brown sugar 1 Tablespoon
Cooking oil spray 3 Dash



In a small bowl, make a glaze by stirring together apricot preserves, whole-grain mustard, and brown sugar. 

Spray a roasting pan with cooking oil spray. Spread part of glaze on bottom side of ham. 

Place ham into sprayed roasting pan, bottom side down. 

Spread rest of glaze over top and sides of ham. 

Place lid on roasting pan and let glazed ham sit in refrigerator overnight to marinate. 

The next day, bake ham (covered) at 350 degrees (F) for about 1 1/2hours, until ham is heated through. 

Transfer ham to a cutting board. Tent with aluminum foil for about 10 minutes.


Slice ham and place on a nice platter for serving. Pour glaze from roasting pan into a small pitcher to accompany ham.
