Celery And Cheese Au Gratin

Celery heart/2 heads fresh celery 12 Ounce (1 Large Can)
Butter 1 Ounce
Grated cheese 3 Ounce
Lemon juice 1 Tablespoon
White sauce 1/2 Pint (Using 1/4 Pint Milk And 1/4 Pint Liquid From The Celery)
Tomatoes 3 , peeled and sliced


1. Drain the celery and put into a fireproof dish.

2. Make the white sauce, add butter, most of the cheese and the lemon juice. Pour over the celery. .

3. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top and arrange slices of tomato round the edge.

4. Put into a hot oven (425°F - Gas Mark 7) for about 15 minutes to heat through.
