You can learn how to make sausage gravy. It is very easy to make sausage gravy, you need just a few simple ingredients before you are making sausage gravy just like they do in many restaurants.

Ingredients

Ground sausage 1 Pound
Butter 1 Tablespoon
All purpose flour 2 Tablespoon
Whole milk/Half & half 2 Cup (32 tbs)
Salt and pepper To Taste (Optional)

Directions

MAKING

1. In a skillet, brown sausage over medium heat. Once the sausage is browned remove from the skillet.

2. In the same skillet, use about 1 tablespoon of the rendered fat and butter, add flour and cook for about 2 minutes until the flour is fragrant.

3. Stir in milk (1/2 cup), cook until the sauce thickens, and more milk (1/2 cup), stir and cook for another few minutes until the sauce thickens. Add in the remaining milk and stir to mix.

4. Add the cooked sausage, and cook until heated through. Add salt and pepper, if required.

SERVING

5. Serve with biscuits or toasts.
