How to Cook Roasted Duck Gravy

This gravy adds a different dimension to your duck. Must have with roasted duck or otherwise.


Duck drippings 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Red wine 1 Tablespoon
Flour 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Water 1/4 Cup (4 tbs)
Giblet broth 1 Cup (16 tbs)
Salt and pepper To Taste



1. Shake water and flour together to make a slurry. Set it aside.

2. Reduce down the duck drippings until its reduced to 1/4 Cup.

3. Add giblet broth to the pan. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce the gravy by 1/4th.

4. Remove meat from duck neck and add it back to the gravy.

5. Shake the slurry and pour it in the pan.

6. Add more broth if desired. Taste and adjust for seasoning.


7. Pour the gravy in the gravy bowl. Serve it with roasted duck. Enjoy.
