Honey Chili Chicken Fry

A saucy, spicy and sweet appetizer for all those weekend parties or a very good treat to go with a cold glass of beer!


Chicken boneless 250 Gram , strips
Seasoning mix 30 Gram (Maggi Seasoning 1 Packet)
Chili vinegar 2 Tablespoon
Ginger garlic paste 2 Tablespoon
Chili flakes 1 Tablespoon
Granulated garlic 2 Teaspoon
Onion powder 1 Teaspoon
Egg yolk 1 Medium
Corn flour 2 Tablespoon
Yellow pepper 1 Medium , chop (1 inch squares)
Cucumber 1 Small , chop (Cut on the bias)
Honey 3 Tablespoon
Chili sauce 1 Tablespoon
Ketchup 1 Tablespoon
Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)
Salt To Taste



1)Chop the chicken pieces into strips and set aside in a bowl. Marinate with salt, ginger garlic paste, vinegar and instant seasoning. Let the chicken marinate for 60 minutes.

2)After 60 minutes mix in the egg yolk, corn flour, red chili flakes, onion powder and granulated garlic and combine well.


3)In a large wok or fryer heat the oil and drop in the chicken strips one by one and fry till golden brown.

4)Place all the fried chicken pieces on a paper towel and allow it to drain.

5)Chop the yellow bell peppers into 1 inch squares and the green cucumber in slices cut in the bias and set aside.

6)In another sauce pan heat 1 tbsp of the oil used for frying the chicken strips and heat the oil.

7)Toss in the yellow bell peppers and cucumber along with the fried chicken and toss. Let it be on the stove for approximately 1 minute so that the flavors combine and be sure to toss in between.

8)In the same sauce pan add the chili sauce, tomato sauce and honey and toss well. Make sure that the vessel is off the stove while doing this.


9)Serve warm as an appetizer and enjoy!!
