Betty demonstrates how to make Pizza Buns. This is a great snack for a get-together for a sports event, like the Super Bowl.
|Ground beef||2 Pound|
|Italian sauce||24 Ounce|
|Dried oregano||4 Teaspoon|
|Rubbed sage||4 Teaspoon|
|Parmesan cheese||To Taste|
|Cooking oil spray||4 Dash|
Place ground beef in deep skillet and brown over medium heat. Stir in 1 jar Italian sauce.
Add oregano, sage, and salt. Stir and return to stove and cook 5 minutes longer, stirring occasionally.
Place buns, cut side up, on a baking pan that has been sprayed with cooking oil spray.
Spread cooked mixture on cut sides on buns. Sprinkle each with Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 400 degrees (F) for 10 minutes, or until cheese melts and begins to brown. Remove from oven.
Transfer to a nice serving platter and serve immediately.
