Schezuan Style Paneer and Bean Sprouts/ Simple Chinese Starteror Appetizer Recipe

What better way to start a meal than with a snazzy assortment of your favourite ingredients? Behold how cottage cheese, bean sprouts and spinach tango with peppy ingredients like Schezuan sauce, onions and celery to form a tongue-tickling starter, which guarantees to throw your taste buds into a frenzy. Just make sure that the Schezuan Style Paneer Bean Sprouts is served immediately upon preparation in order to enjoy that amazing crispness, which is so characteristic of stir-fried foods.

Ingredients

Schezuan sauce 3 Tablespoon
Paneer cubes 1 Cup (16 tbs) (cottage cheese)
Bean sprouts 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Oil 1 Tablespoon
Finely chopped garlic 1 Tablespoon (lehsun)
Finely chopped ginger 1 Teaspoon (adrak)
Chopped celery 1 Tablespoon (ajmoda)
Finely chopped onions 1/2 Cup (8 tbs)
Red chilli paste 2 Teaspoon
Salt To Taste
Shredded spinach 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) (palak)

Directions

Making

1. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick pan, add the garlic, ginger, celery and onions and sauté on a high flame for 1 to 2 minutes.

2. Add chilli paste, Schezuan sauce and salt and sauté on a high flame for 1 minute.

3. Add the spinach and 2 tbsp of water, mix well and cook on a high flame for 1 minute, while stirring continuously.

4. Add the bean sprouts and paneer, mix gently and cook on a high flame for 1 minute, while stirring continuously.

5. Serve immediately.
