White chocolate and dark chocolate come together to create a sinful two-tonne fudge- flavored with peppermint because its Christmas, of course. Also- you can do this in the microwave and no fancy equipment required.
Semi sweet chocolate chips/A combo of milk/dark | 9 Ounce (260 g/ 1 1/2 cups) | |
White chocolate chips/White chocolate | 1 1/2 Cup (24 tbs) | |
Canned sweetened condensed milk | 14 Ounce , divided (1 can, 3/4 cup per layer) | |
Butter | 4 Tablespoon , divided | |
Peppermint candies | 1/2 Cup (8 tbs) , crushed (bash up some peppermint) | |
Chocolate peppermint candies | 3/4 Cup (12 tbs) , chopped (such as After 8 or York) |
GETTING READY:
Line baking pan with parchment paper.
MAKING:
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine ½ of the condensed milk, 2 tablespoon of butter, 1 ½ cup of dark chocolate and mix well. Microwave for 2 minutes until the mixture melts and blend well, by stirring every 30 seconds.
Spread the mixture on the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
Chill the mixture.
For white chocolate layer, combine white chocolate, remaining butter and condensed milk in another bowl and microwave until ingredients melt and blend well.
Pour this mixture over the mixture in the pan and spread well.
Sprinkle chopped candies and peppermint chunks.
Pop the pan into refrigerator and chill until firm for 2 hours.
Cut into desired sized pieces before serving.

NOTE:
Instead of microwaving, double boiling method can also be followed to melt mixtures.
